Bernie Sanders isn't a rep, he is a senator. Also, the Clintons have had no influence on public policy for some years now. So much ignorance being proudly displayed here. Seems to be a lot of that going around lately.
Google is doing that because she was the last presidential candidate. She was the least popular candidate they have nominated in decades, and she still got 3 million more votes than Trump.
They learned their lesson. They understand now just how sick of political dynasties the American public has become.
There is a powerful progressive movement taking hold in the Democratic party. The primaries are producing candidates that are champions to American working families. This year will be interesting.
You're entirely delusional if you believe that anyone else other than Hillary is the face of the democratic party currently. Were getting extremely close to the beginning of the 2020 presidential campaign circuit and the Democratic Parties entire platform is still based around Hillary's bitterness.
THis is not to say that there isnt a "progressive" movement going on, but as far as making out into the presss enough to turn people into household names... LOL
Maybe if you live in an echo chamber, and only get your "news" from Trump's propaganda mouthpiece, you get a distorted view of the political landscape. Tune into actual progressive news, perhaps Democracy Now or Young Turks, and you will see rising stars like Kamala Harris and Corey Booker. Tune into any cable news channel, other than Fox "News", and you will see Bernie Sanders almost every day. I honestly can't even remember the last time I saw a Hillary interview, and I have a monitor in my office playing a multi-channel news feed almost constantly.
What the Trumpists are doing is projecting. They are accusing their opposition of that which they are most guilty of themselves. They do that a lot. You see, currently Trump is the face of the Republican party, and what an ugly face it is. His approval numbers are some of the lowest in recorded history.
Neo-cons really showed their ass this time, and they are already suffering losses for it. Obama was the democratic response to Bush Jr. The response to this latest idiocy will be a candidate so progressive it will make Obama look moderate and centrist by comparison.
Lol I don't watch any mainstream news channel they're all garbage. I do watch Tucker tho from time to time lol.
You say neocons like they're any different than the neolibs. Trump is definitely not a Neocon, and as far as approval ratings lol, they mean shit at this point. both sides are literally defending their post without any regard for the truth. Which s entirely why Trump won the first time.
The thing about the people you mentioned is the other than sanders. They're all apart of the same swamp that Clinton is from. Which will come out if anyone tries a serious run. Especially after the Mueller probe, which if you view from a non partisan perspective has done nothing but point out the swamp monsters in both parties.
Trump didn't win because people liked him. Trump won because people hate everything that washton DC stands for right now on both sides. Essentially the last election would have been Bernie vs Trump if the democratic primaries weren't rigged in Hilarys favor. Both of whom are outliers in regards to their respective parties
You also say that Obama was a response to bush jr, and that may have been what he campaigned on that is the farthest from the truth in reality policy wise. Obama expanded nearly every bush era policy that he claimed to be against, and so would have Hillary which is why Bush Sr openly backed Hillary. And so will everyone that colluded with her.
But let's get back to "approval ratings" please tell me you remember how Hillary was ahead in the polls the entire time up until she lost. Supposedly according to every media channel even Fox Hillary was going to win in 2016 until she didn't so fuck the approval ratings. Literally anything that mainstream media says at this point gets thrown out the window as propaganda list of it being on the right or the left because mainstream right and left are the exact same.
They're all garbage, except for the one that you watch. You know this, because you don't watch them. That's fair.
Trump is most definitely a neo-con/tea party Republican/Alex Jones tinfoil hat fruitcake.
Approval ratings are a historical indicator of election results. I would show you some charts demonstrating correlation, but you are probably unwilling or unable to get anything out of them.
I don't know what this "swamp" is that you poor hicks keep babbling about. I would guess you are just regurgitating some old campaign propaganda. If it is in reference to a percieved corruption in American politics, I would remind you that Trump stacked his cabinet with career politicians and corporate lobbyists. This is also the first time we have seen an administration blatantly engage in nepotism.
The Mueller investigation has produced indictments, arrest warrants, and guilty pleas. The FBI is doing their job to bring the truth to the American people and expose corruption wherever they find it. Ironically, the party that likes to pay the most lip-service to the law enforcement community, now attacks and undermines their work. We all know why they are doing this. It's pretty obvious that this administration has something very ugly to hide. That's why they attack investigative journalists and the intelligence community.
Hillary did rig the primary. The people wanted Bernie, but the Democratic establishment had already invested in Hillary. Had they not made this mistake, Sanders would have taken the Democratic nomination, as well as the general election. I could prove this with numbers, but your a Trumpist, so it would be a waste of my time.
If you can't tell the difference between the policies enacted by Democratic and Republican administrations, you are probably just not paying attention. Perhaps you are insulated from some of the more severe consequences, or maybe you are just too young to remember or understand. Let me simplify it for you. Democrats craft policy that favors the public interest and working families. Republicans craft policy that favors billionaires and corporate polluters. Democrats tax rich people to build schools and hospitals. Republicans tax poor people to pay for prisons and wars.
Bush supported Hillary for the same reason that many other moderate Republicans did. They saw Trump's childish temperament and lack of experience as a risk too dangerous to take, so they supported the more qualified candidate.
Approval ratings and poll numbers are two very different things, but I probably shouldn't expect someone too lazy to differentiate between Republicans and Democrats to understand. The polls showed Hillary winning the popular vote by four percent, with a four percent margin of error. In the end, she won the popular vote by about 1%. Those numbers fall in line with what polls predicted. Unfortunately, due to an outdated electoral college system distributing unequal voting power to rural voters and red states, Trump was elected even after losing the popular vote.
Also, it's worth pointing out that the article you linked had a giant picture of Elizabeth Warren. I have definitely been seeing a lot more of her than Hillary. That's probably because she still holds public office and is still active in American politics. Thanks for literally illustrating my point for me.
Bernie Sanders isn't a rep, he is a senator. Also, the Clintons have had no influence on public policy for some years now. So much ignorance being proudly displayed here. Seems to be a lot of that going around lately.
You're right he is a senator. And while you may be right about public policy, Hillary Clinton is sadly still the face of the Democratic Party

literally the first thing that popped up on google after typing in "who is the face of the democratic party"
Google is doing that because she was the last presidential candidate. She was the least popular candidate they have nominated in decades, and she still got 3 million more votes than Trump.

Even here in this polico article about new candicates they still bring up Hillary because the Democratic party has very few other household names
