I loved the Alvarez - Gaethje fight. If Gaethje changes his brawl style a little bit and fights a little smarter , with his heart and gas tank , he will break most fighters
I was literally afraid Overeem was dead with how long he was out for....definitely the most vicious hit i've ever seen in UFC and I've been watching for years.
I think that Overeem was at one time, a legitimate force to be reckoned with. However, his chin left him several fights back, and he is still trying to bang with the big men like he did in the past. I say adapt your style, or perish as a has been who no longer has a chin, but tries to live out the glory days of his former self; tarnishing his legacy with each loss.

Overeem should have focused on technique.
Maybe it's time for Overeem to throw in the towel, he's been KO'd enough recently. He's had a great career but I fear that if he takes anymore damage from head shots it has the potential to seriously reduce his lifespan.
Edit: I love underdog stories, and Frances' story is incredible.
I have been so wrapped up with work this year that I have been detached from the world of MMA so I had no idea who Francis was but leading up to the fight and catching the odd interview here and there, I knew something was up with this guy. He wasn't just your average heavy weight. Though I have to admit I only knew Overeem and though he was going to win this one. I know Overeem has a suspect chin and been knocked out more than most, I just figured he's on one last title run before retirement. Well, I think after this fight Overeem should just sit back and enjoy his earning from his career.
I was lucky enough to meet him one time in Las Vegas and talk to him for a bit. He was such an awesome guy, it made watching the out come of this fight that much harder but props to Francis, I think he's going to take that title and hold the belt for awhile.
Reminds me of the joke about how the giraffe was made when chuck norris uppercut the horse. Francis ngannou would make rhinoceros into a brontasaurous.... lol. Good luck Stipe, you're going to need it.

I know its a separate weight class, but imagine if he and Anthony Johnson faced off. That'd be some real power in the cage.
