While it's all top notch advice, steps 3 and 4 are spot on. Unless it's a crazy story I doubt anybody's gonna read a novel and regardless of the possibility of money , get a little variety in what you do. Granted, I feel the travelers are probably getting out and mixing it up a lot already.
