Hey everyone.
Somewhere in Kentucky now, barreling down the highway, listening to some Ozzy, Steeming, and havin’ me some thoughts:
Randy Rhoads’ guitar solo on “Crazy Train” is probably one of the best hard rock guitar solos ever written.
I have to pee now.
Holy fuck the price of Steem is high!
Was able to talk to my family this vacation more in-depth about Steem and cryptocurrencies in general.
They seem genuinely interested, if still a little confused. Hell, I’m still a little confused. It’s happening though, man. NOW.
SOME OTHER THINGS I AM WONDERING ABOUT:
XRP (Ripple) is going nuts right now. Am I correct in my thinking, though, that Ripple is not truly decentralized?
With all the new legislation regarding crypto holdings, taxation, etc, surely financial advisory services are popping up left and right. What services do some of you other Steemians use, if any, to pacify the bureaucratic wolves?
If you have any sage advice, hit me in the comments.
2018 is off to an awesome start. Every day’s a gift and the crazy (in the best sense) train is rolling on at a fuckin’ million miles per hour.
Steem on!

Graham Smith is a Voluntaryist activist, creator, and peaceful parent residing in Niigata City, Japan. Graham runs the "Voluntary Japan" online initiative with a presence here on Steem, as well as Facebook and Twitter. (Hit me up so I can stop talking about myself in the third person!)
Haha, trying to educate friends and relatives in blockchain and Cryptocurrencies can be a challenge. Mike Maloney's latest video in his 'Hidden Secrets of Money' series may help as it is focused on this subject.
Visual learning can be a so much quicker way to get the message through.
It really is. I thought I could explain the whole thing pretty easily to them until...I tried to. Haha.
I'll check Maloney's stuff. Thanks!
It must be contagious but in the middle of reading this I also had to Pee!!!
I agree with you about Ripple. I have a little invested into XRP but I won't go full fledged because of some of my doubts. And people stay on top of your transactions. The tax man doesn't play
Haha. The collective bladder consciousness...(or something like that).
What are some of the doubts you have regarding XRP, if you don't mind me asking?
Just the obvious.. The major banks possibly having their say on XRP. With the banks backing XRP it can be viewed as a plus for sure but it can also be viewed as a move towards more centralization
I agree with you on "Crazy Train". If I could play a guitar... that's all I would play! Enjoy!
Ok, now I've got that guitar solo stuck in my head lol. Yeah, Steem exploded overnight and I couldn't resist buying just a little more silver. It is crazy! I hope Kentucky was good and your trip was relaxing. Take care @kafkanarchy84
Haha. Yep, it's a killer solo for sure. You're a true stacker! Vacation was good, but I'm ready to get back on my home turf and dig in for this killer year we have coming up.
You take care as well, @jbcoin. Cheers!
Ripple is no more centralized or decentralized in any other cryptocurrencies out there. Ok maybe a little more centralized, but the point is do your own research on ripple and not just listening to the people spreading FUD.
I'm more concerned with adoption of ripple the currency because the technology does not require the use of the currency.
Well, yeah, I’m not just listening to those folks. I’ve read a little about it and was just wondering.
Interesting second point, though. Wasn’t aware of that.
I am just a farmer from Ky. I am still scared of cryptos. I prefer old school money silver and gold. Not as exciting as crypto but slow and steady wins the race
Really very nice post sir
