So many positive messages here, my words can't add anything really. But I do want to endorse your openness. Most of us are inclined to hide what might seem to be a flaw to others. That just makes it hard to take a necessary step. This is true for a colostomy, or any illness. It's amazing how people deal with issues in secret, in isolation, because of the fear of stigma. Kudos for owning yourself, your body, your destiny. Good for you. Good for all us. We come in many sizes, in many circumstances. Embrace that and live life to the fullest.

Thanks @agmoore, that is really nice of you to say, I think that bringing things out of the shadows is the best way to break the stigma associated with it. Many live in fear that someone will find out about it and in all honesty, I used to be one of them, I remember when my hubby told his friends I was so angry but now I talk openly about it and he has helped me do that.

Your husband sounds like a rock. A nice soft one :)

haha he is pretty awesome, and how soft depends on how often he goes to the gym lol...
