Life does not give you what you Desire, what you Deserve and what you Demand.

The fact that you desire a house does not mean you will get it. That you helped a sick person does not guarantee you will be helped when you fall sick. Just demanding a thing will not make it come to you.
Embrace these facts and live by them forever, for they will save you from a lot of heartaches, disappointments and frustration.
Whatever you want in life, go for with so much determination and persistence that it will become very hard for you not to get it. But if you fail at getting it despite all efforts, move on with the mindset of A Winner. That you failed in an attempt to achieve a goal does not make you a loser. Only winners make attempts! Losers don't! Because they are afraid of losing.
If you desire anything, go for it. Do not sit back and wait for it to be actualized. Else you might end up being frustrated all your life.
Don't you ever think people will be nice to you just because you are a nice person or that they will be generous to you because you are generous. Living with such mentality will make you meet with disappointments very often. Live your life and never expect anything from anybody or anything. Be thankful for everything you receive. For the ones you did not get, do not worry about them. Move on!
Making demands without a concrete effort to actualize your demands is stupidity. Stop demanding. Go get what you want! If you want to have that beautiful girl down the street, go for her. Stop broadcasting it to all your friends. Tell her what you feel for her, do everything a guy needs to do to get a woman he loves. Lol! However, if she doesn't want you, drop her like a hot potato and move on! Don't force yourself on people who don't want to be with you. It sucks! Besides, when you do that, you obstruct your chances of getting a better alternative. Don't just sit back and make demands, go get what you want.
Until you realize that life is not a bed of roses where things come to you, you will perpetually find yourself being unhappy and miserable.
It is not wrong to have desires, but work hard and smart to actualize them.
Don't live your life with the entitlement mentality. Life does not always give us what we deserve. If it were so, good people will never have to cry. Live your life with little expectations from people or nature. Whatever comes your way, handle it with a courageous mind. Be grateful for the good ones, endure and overcome the bad ones.
Stop placing demands without backing it up with calculated actions. Determination and persistence is the key to getting what you want from life.
In summary, whatever you desire, whatever you think you deserve, whatever you are currently demanding, Strategize on ways to get it, then go get it!

I've come to realise that though I never got all I desired, but somehow all that I have given my best to has always at some point paid off.

Still wondering what you mean by drop her a hot potato? Meanwhile, some Nigerian ladies may want you but literally say No to a guy and some will probably take more than 2 years to accept that guy.
I have always lived my life as a free soul. whenever i do something help, I expect nothing in return. I got so many desires, some I can't get and others am still pushing and climbing that ladder to reach that goal. Like you said, I have accepted the fact that life isn't a bed of roses. When someone fails me, I don't feel disappointment rather see it as one of those things in life.

life is like a wheel, spinning and spinning, so whoever goes through it never wait and postpone something that can be done today, do it, do not expect anything without trying, and of course give thanks.
Quite inspiring. The truth is many of us are lazy! Too lazy to work for what we want. We show how hungry we are for something by the lengths we go to get them. If all we do is desire them, then we don't really want them.
@ogoowinner, you are very correct here, they is a price tag for every demand and desire even at the point where you have done it to others, but here, the golden rules states;
the funniest thing here is that many people will think by just helping someone to acheive a goal, their own personal goal will be achieve in the platter of gold, at that they condition their mind and relent ever trying to achieve their goals, yes, truly the golden rules does work, it is an addition, infact it accelerate your success rate when combined with more effort, only the golden rules alone will not help you to get there, do your very best to attempt the additional and you will see your desires running to you as easy as posible.
secondly, never put yourself on expectations, always strive to zero your mind that it may come and it mat not, it is the point of zeroing your mind that miracle happens because here you are not attach to anything, and you are absolutely free of disapointments because you less expect anything.
understanding these few principle will help you live a fulfill and achievable lifestyle.
nevertheless, grace abounce, but it should not be an option for expectation.

I recently put up something on my status about doing good and forgetting that you did, because most people also forget that you did good to them.
