yes like if there is a huge crack in the earth you could go stand on the edge and take pictures! maybe that's why they advertising the fact that the fault is there, they don't want people from all over doing that!

There are several YouTube videos about exploring the San Andreas Fault, and while there are cracks in the Earth I didn't see anything that look like a huge chasm where you can see down into the center of the Earth! Just a lot of places where the Earth had heaved up and rocks had been pushed around. The Indian tribes in that area live in huts made of palm branches because if there is an earthquake falling Palm leaves won't kill you the way that a falling building would. It would be a really interesting area to explore.
Oh that's interesting, especially about the palm branches and huts! lol. It would be something to visit!
Well it certainly is much closer for you to drive there then it is for me! I suppose it's going to be a long time before your wife gets any vacation time though
hey Melinda..I suppose you're about to close up shop? Well, Mrs. J has to work for six months before she gets a week off. And when she does she'll probably be heading to Ohio to see her parents, daughter and grandsons.
And will you and Jack go too?
I don't think so. The last time she went she wanted me to stay here with Jack. Well he doesn't travel much and she flew so.
Anna used to love to ride in the truck. She traveled many miles with us... And when we couldn't take her she went and stayed with my daughter and the kids. They were kind of her home away from home and she didn't mind being there with them at all and took over their sofa and made herself right at home.
