I wasn't convinced at all when I first stumbled on the movie trailer of "tag" , a 2018 comedy drama starring Jeremy Renner. It is about a group of friends who have been playing a game of tag for over 30 years since their freshmen years at middle school. At first I thought the concept was stupid, but after watching the actual movie I was really impressed by the concept and storyline. I wouldn't have thought that comedy can be so deep and highly emotional. I was only really in for Jeremy Renner at first of which I am a fan boy since I first watched a war movie called "The Hurt Locker" in 2008. He got lucky with his role in "tag" though playing the cool guy who was never tagged even once during that 30 years of playing along. [spoiler alert] To be exact their game season is only a month long each year and the last person that is going to be tagged will be the looser until next year. Based on a real-world story I kind of thought it was hilarious that there are actual legitimate people out there who have done this for as long as I am living and taking it to a level of seriousness where they made legal contracts with a lawyer.
Kind of off topic but i had to share it anyways though it has very little to do with my blog content.
