Nice one. I'll bet that was a lot cheaper than the shows I saw lol!
The first one I saw was called "Not the Messiah," and it was basically a sung through version of "Life of Brian," accompanied by Terry Jones, Michael Palin, and Terry Gilliam. John Cleese was not there because he only shows up when he's offered the big money so he can pay off his palimony. At the end, Michael Palin sand "the Lumberjack Song." They put up the words for us to sing along, and my favourite verse was "I cut down trees, I skip and jump, I like to press wild flowers, I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars." You won't believe how funny it is to sing that with 5000 people.
Poor old Terry Jones has alzheimers now. I can't think for the life of me that there's a bright side to that, but if there is, I know that Terry Jones (and Eric Idle) could find it.
I didn't manage to see the Pythons live, but we did go to the cinema broadcast of their last show. I grew up watching them. Those guys have given us so many laughs
