RE: Trance from The Netherlands

in #music7 years ago (edited)

Techno can be categorized. Trance is from Europe. Techno is from Detroit. House is Chicago. Also if you label it as EDM your new to the scene and listening what the public has labeled it as. also Gouryella for your information is actually DJ Teisto. What they label progressive house is another name of trance. Hard Style is hard house started back in the 90's Its the new kids that want to give it a new name to make it popular. DEMF is what underground techno is all about. Tomorrowworld and land is a copy of DEMF. Take a look at all the new to the scene DJ's out there, NO SKILL. Where are your headphones to balance out the BPM.

Techno is from Detroit! lol - that must be a joke. Please do your research - Gouryella was originally a Dutch production team, comprising Corsten and Tiësto, who later left.

I did DJ in the late 1980ies so calling me new to the scene is interesting. You want to have fun and enjoy some music or be a teacher - calm down and enjoy - show us your skills and music!

I will investigate this. Thank you

Sure my friend - in Detroit they started sth like first House with tracks like this in 1988:

Techno had various streams of origin, mainly from Europe - #Kraftwerk influenced most of it at the end of the 1970ies / earlier 80ies - also some sounds along the synth area via UK like Depeche Mode or New Order.

I think you were stumbling on a Google Search I just did as well with some Wikipedia entries around Detroit Techno - so no worries - that might have been when the US picked up the music from Europe.

Let us have fun now with it.

Thank you for your kindness. You deserve the greatest votes. I wish I could and I can support you
