I would be surprised if by the end of 2018 bitcoin was back above $10,000 USD. My conservative guess is that bitcoin won't be anywhere around $50,000 USD until maybe around the year 2025. Of course I could be wrong but I think a lot more hurdles need to be overcome for both the currency and society in order to make bitcoin go that high in price.
