For me, it is very important to know your niche. As for me, I started my stint here in Steemit as a contributor in Utopian-io's translation category and when translation was paused, I was struggling to find my niche. Thankfully, since I love solving problems in mathematics and problems relating to my degree (BS in Mechanical Engineering), I tried posting articles about it and at first it was difficult and time consuming especially when making presentations for the computations and as time passes by you'll cope up and find ways to make it completed and presented well wherein it doesn't consume much of your time. And up until today, I'm still posting articles relating to my niche.
Your niche is very related to your hobby and likes, if you like travelling you can post about your travel adventures and there are many travel posts that are exceptional which you can use as your barometer in improving your presentation of travel posts. Well, lastly, I do believe everyone is having its own hobbies and strength since we are all unique - and Steemit will help you find it for you and will aid you in monetizing your content.
