I absolute!y love Indian food, especially the vegetarian dishes. The Uk in general loves it so much, it has even developed its own identity.

I love the use of potatos mixed with the unique blend of spices and herbs. I am very lucky to have a some lovely Indian frieds who keep me supplied with naan bread and roti and my fridge is always full of dishes to eat later.

Indian food is so diverse as its such a large country and has been influenced by many travellers but it still retains a uniqueness like no other.  There are so many levels of hotness and spicyness, even the weakest pallet can find something to suit their tastebuds.

In the UK, Indian is the most popular take away food, even beating tradtional English Fish and Chips and Pizza and Chinese.

If youve never tried Indian food before, go for it. Its delicious and healthy and diverse.
