This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @thesocalhive where we share an aspect of our California.
We have had some fairly heavy rains this last week in what they call an “atmospheric river”. The conditions are just right for these narrow bands of weather to drop large amounts of water in a short amount of time while being concentrated. There are more rains on the way, but this was the result at one the baseball fields whose dugout drain got plugged and left 3 feet of water in the dugout:
We do need rain, so it is a good thing, just too bad it has to be concentrated downpours as that can sometimes cause other problems, like mudslides and flooding.

Right we need much rain for summer, and it has been raining/snowing here for a few days.

When there is heavy rain here in our country too, the water accumulates similarly and life becomes difficult

Pollution gets eliminated due to rain and there are many benefits of rain but if due to some reason there is excessive rain then the losses are also more.
