Thank you@serypov! I think your girls would really like that experience as well. Once you settled down I hope you will be able to have a little lot to grow some plants and you should grow strawberries!!! So the sisters can pick whenever and eat them 😊

I miss having a big strawberry patch.

And that definitely sounds like what I mean 111Β° heat out here.

Stay safe and enjoy those fruit

Thank you!!!! It has been so hot here too and that makes fruits like strawberries and watermelons taste extra good! Thank you again you stay safe and healthy as well!!πŸ™πŸ»

especially when you put them into a slushie

I always wondered if U-Pick farms were a thing beyond my boyhood home in southern Indiana, now I know it's not unique. I have so many fond childhood memories of going to local U-Pick farms around my hometown. We had a bit of strawberries, but blueberries were by far the most common berries for U-Pick.

Enjoy it girls, you literally earned them.

Oh i love picking blueberries too! I did that last year for the first time! In Surry,BC, Canada they have lots blueberry farms which we don’t have here in Alberta. Picking cherries, peaches and next on my list!! Will you take your family back to you hometown when the visa approves?

Yeah, my grandmother passed away several years ago, and we still maintain her old house on the family farm. We can live there rent-free as long as we do some maintenance keep it up to code. As much as I don't want to live there, free rent is hard to pass up. We'll just have to figure out a way to make it work.

Oh that great!! Will you run the farm as well for some income? Grow some high profit produce?

What are great way to spend an hour and a half πŸ“. Strawberry picking or picking any fruit is always a fun activity, especially for the kids. It's Berry exciting. Hopefully the day wasn't too hot.

We had record high heat waves last week how about Japan? Japanese strawberries in Asian markets here are so expensive they comes in a fancy box but I never tried ( are they really that good?) I really enjoyed picking fresh farm ones and they have no chemical sprays at all. Taste so different compared to store bought. Just snacking them along the road trip and then I’m full lol

Nice pics, kids and strawberries !

Thank you for stopping by! Yes it was a great experience with the family 😊
