At this time of the year the high mountain divides the day in two with morning sun and afternoon sun. We have had afternoon sun for a month now, yesterday we got the first glimpse of the afternoon sun. Pictures from some days before the sun appeared and the first afternoon sun.

The place where you live is really amazing, @karja! I envy you! :) How is the summer there? Probably it doesn’t get hot at all?
Thank you daniela for nice comments. we have summer with temperatures 15 -22 degree C. For some years ago we had 30 degree in two weeks. For the most part is it cloudy and rainy weather :)
such a wonderful photography.........one by one so amazing......snowy mountain,,cloudy sky,,beautiful sunset......overall create a mind-blowing atmosphere......
At my old home I had "dual sunset" just before the midnight sun arrived, and after it left. Sun would go "down" behind a mountain for some two-three hours, "rise" again at the other side of the mountain before going "completely" down for some few hours. Of course, when I say "completely down" I mean "just a little bit below the horizon", meaning it would still be a pretty red sky, not dark.
