At my old home I had "dual sunset" just before the midnight sun arrived, and after it left. Sun would go "down" behind a mountain for some two-three hours, "rise" again at the other side of the mountain before going "completely" down for some few hours. Of course, when I say "completely down" I mean "just a little bit below the horizon", meaning it would still be a pretty red sky, not dark.
