Here are some nature photos I took earlier this month in Santa Cruz County, California.
First is a deer, our local deer is the Columbian Black-tailed Deer, Odocoileus hemionus columbianus, a form of Mule Deer.
Second, some Elegant Terns (and bonus guano)
Next, an underexposed and not completely in focus shot of a Townsend's Warbler.
And finally, our local large sparrow, the California Towhee, lurking in the shadows.
Nice variety of wildlife. Love the little warbler. Quite a colourful one.
What beautiful pictures! The deer and that beautiful Towhee are just amazing to look at.
