Yes! I really captured a photograph of a wild "duck, duck, goose!"
I also got some other shots down by the lake recently. I think that the goose escaped from someone, as it is not the wild Canadian Goose variety that we normally see. I guess he's wild now! We might try to make friends and see if he'll follow us home. Here are the rest of the photos. Enjoy!

I remember how surprised i was as a kid, when someone told me that the brightest are the males, not the females
Yeah, that's interesting. Same with Cardinals, Peacocks, and all sorts of other birds.
These are some pretty good shots. In your opinion, What makes one a good photographer?
Wow, this looks so professional. I like the ones with silhouette, they are so beautiful. I need to get me a camera. These are lovely @papa-pepper, thanks for sharing
Wow, beautiful duck you got, after internet business my next line is agriculture.
Ducks are pretty birds, I never knew they could fly till I saw one fly so high up the sky. It was really an amazing site to behold, I am pretty sure they will make good friends because they are gentle birds....@papa-pepper beautiful photography from you, nature is indeed wonderful.
They are impressive creatures!
You just added to my reasons to love nature..wow what a serene environment @papa-pepper
Maybe this goose is really a new version of the fairy tale about the "ugly duckling" only this time the hatchling turned into a goose not swan? 😉🐥

good shot @papa-pepper.
Wow, Beautiful image, i like the way you captured the ducks. Well done.
Hmmm...you're right. Definitely not a Canadian goose. Escaped from a neighbor's farm? Sure looks like a domestic variety to me. We have a whole flock of Canadian Geese in our field every fall. It's like an assembly point or something before they all take off to head south. So, I know what those guys look like (and sound like...Geesh they can make a ruckus when they want to, as well.)
Some sort of African or Chinese goose I believe. Popular on some homesteads and farms.
Yep...prison escapee. Did you check for black/white stripes?
I guess I'll represent MN here and say that the correct variation of this game, is Duck, Duck, GRAYDUCK.
But beautiful pics regardless papa :)
Y'all call geese "grayducks" up there, eh?
haha, no actually, we still call them geese. Just the game doesn't end with goose, but rather grayduck.
Bellas fotografías. ☺
As seen in the Picture, it shows it has really become wild
So so cute, the picture awesome @papa-pepper, the environment, beautiful! Even at sunset that it was taken makes it look a lot beautiful and makes us appreciate nature more and more

AWESOME
Those reflection shots are stunning. Nice work!
I know that lake well! I spent my Summers there as a kid, learned how to drive a boat there, and I know exactly where you are sitting in that last photo. lol Weird (but cool) to see a little of my childhood on Steemit.
It used to be quite a bit cleaner, FYI.
