Something that we all learn from a young age when discovering this animal we call, Penguins is that they can not fly. They are a flightless bird but do they know that. It is not uncommon to see them behave in such a manner that could suggest that they might still be trying. Their wings are constantly stretched out as they walk/wobble from side to side. Perhaps only for them to retain some balance as they comically make their way from point a to point b. Or is it in an attempt to finally have lift off?

Their body weight is far more high considering the wings size. This could be the reason they can not fly. However, nice picture to share with us. Thanks.
They are so lovable; not being able to fly makes them more so. They seem so vulnerable, it makes them even more endearing.
This post reminds me the legend that says that in the entrance of the NASA there is a sign which states the following: It is proved that the bumblebee in terms of aerodynamics can't fly because its weight, size and the shape of its body, but he doesn't know it.

Let our imagination fly. If the penguin knew that they can't fly and were just trying and failing at it like Thomas Edison and Colonel Sanders. They would all try and fail better until some day what is called the Black Swan principle would happen, just there in front of our surprised eyes. One of the penguins found the solution to fly and would share his knowledge with others. And we would put our certainties of superiority towards the other species in jeopardy.
I like the idea that things we cannot believe would happen could really occur. May be the other species are delayed in their evolution and will also evolve in a smarter way than mankind. They see which failure we make and go-around that to make things way differently.
Just a matter of imagination, though, I think that anything can happen.

Hahahha. Who knows. After thousands of years spreading those wings, evolution might become their good mate. Or they might try strict diet. Haha
