Machine man interfaces are exciting to me as they can improve the quality of live of those bound to wheelchairs or that have other neurological/muscle disorders. I have been following Braingate since the early 2000s... The first version wasn't very complex, it could only control a mouse pointer on a 2d grid, but that was enough to be able to interact with computers. Braingate has evolved now to the point where quadriplegics can use an artificial arm to bring beverages to their mouth all by thought... crazy!

I have been following braingate because the chips they are developing could evolve into a way to download consciousness in the future.
