I am not so offended by the person who got in a twist, this site is overwhelming. You will see people call it a "meritocracy" which leads one to think that if you put in some hard work you will be rewarded. Trouble is this is NOT a meritocracy, not a pure one. Anyway, I am following you BECAUSE you do not use bots. I appreciate that more than words can say. Vote = curation and the bots do NOT read a word they upvote.
I don't know if we are working towards the same end or not. I want to point out the adverse effects of bots whereas you, despite having apparently lauded me for NOT using them, seem to be making use of them yourself.

It was my mistake. I misunderstood your statement "so tip", possibly because of being oversensitive from getting 50 to 100 private messages a day asking for something from me.
I have in the past downvoted tipping bots, and I probably will in the future too. Since this isn't my post, I will leave it. But I do downvote tipping bots that show up on my post, because all they are doing is using my blog for advertising their service without having read or contributed to the conversation.
Since you may consider that to be having my knickers in a knot, I will not be offended if you put me back on mute. I'll just upvote your above comment first so you haven'y wasted your 0.1SBD tip.
LOL! OK. So, is this a civil conversation now? I use the tipping bot because it puts shiny coins in the feed. I use it mostly on newbies, and I don't care if it advertises its service, I like what it does. I don't know of other tipping bots, someone gave me one of those when I was brand new and it made my day. I have tried to spread that love. You are the first person I have ever heard make any objection, and downvoting the bot is a reasonable response considering your feelings. But I hope you do not routinely downvote or harangue people who give you gifts because you did not like the box...

The "bot" you are objecting to me using does not take a DIME from the reward pool, that came out of MY WALLET. I tried to give you a gift...
