The reason why implanted microchips hype went away is that it really does cause cancer, and in such a way as THAT microchip is the cause of it.
It is also apparent from this, that those in charge feel that everything could be made better if we were just able to control everyone's actions.
We just have to use more carrot and more STICK! And then things are all better.
Too bad these politicians are never about increasing the economy, or allowing people to make a living, or being self-sufficient. Those would cure crime. But, they are in it for the payoffs, and to impose codes to help out their business buddies.
