RE: PFT EXCLUSIVE: MAN ASSAULTED AND “ARRESTED” BY CANADIAN TIRE EMPLOYEES FOR EXERCISING MASK EXEMPTION!!!

in #news4 years ago

I share part of your assumptions, not all, but it may not be necessary if there are ways of understanding and mutual tolerance that make us as common people stick together and not oppose each other. I accept the fear of a virus as the truth of others, only it is not mine. This could probably be debated for eternity, as philosophers have debated with the public for millennia, and no end in sight. The extent to which other states are our enemies and even feel motivated to see such things fuelled is also due to how domestic and foreign media write and report about the "new power states", indeed, how each individual perceives that we are caught up in something like an international competition. This aspect is also part of the propaganda machine, not always explicitly, but implicitly. As long as the enemy is dubbed outside our own national borders, the population will also bow to what the state apparatus suggests: That we have no choice but to submit and best obey the rolling dominations of an economic nature.

But what do the Chinese, the Germans or the Indians really think about each other as people, as part of a culture, when they have the chance to push aside the filter of media content? For me, the Chinese are a people like any other, neither are they my enemies nor my friends, I am not emotionally attached to them, but I infer from my life to their lives and in general there is certainly little difference in that they want to live, love and work in peace.

So instead of listening as a people to neither Chinese nor German nor American propaganda, we could turn a deaf ear and realise that we are not the tools of the powerful if we don't want to be.
For me, the realisation is slowly crystallising that rulers who always want to locate and condemn the enemy are merely looking for convincing justifications for measures that will make it easy to change the paradigm and bring an entire populace onto a course they want. The fact that dictators might only be found abroad, but not at home, has been in question since the Corona affair at the latest.

So, I would ask you, if you do not also think that your own government/international corporations are collecting your DNA and the rest of your humanly data? Where is the difference between a chinese and a german government?

Doesn't it sadden you to see how we ordinary people are now working against each other instead of finding ways to free ourselves from coercion and control?

I therefore wish you personally freedom and a form of peace that I wish for all people. But I will oppose those who make it too easy for themselves to abuse the current rules for their own preferences and also to over-interpret them, as is happening with the masks.

I have just finished a difficult phone call and correspondence with one of my contractors who dismissed me because of my mask exemption and I am therefore facing the almost out of my professional and financial existence. I fought it and wouldn't have had to if she had accepted the exemption, as the law states, where people with exemption don't have to wear masks. But she didn't. And such shows that people feel in the right when the rest of the fellow citizens duck, bend and also harass people walking outside without masks because somewhere there is a mask order for certain districts.

But now I also know that everyone has their own limit and not everyone goes into resistance at the same time. It's an evolving thing and only when people can't move personally and feel cornered do they start to resist. Where there are still ways out and diplomatic skills, where there are niches or shelters, they are used.

All the best for you.
