I think you would have had to experience child abuse, and child sexual abuse yourself, to realize this question is actually distracting and oversimplifying to the issue. But the person that actually does the abuse, is only a part of the people that are responsible for letting it happen, or when they find out it happened, they don't know how to talk to the child about it. I know, it happened to me when I was a child. Physical abuse and sexual abuse.

On another note, Michael Jackson didn't actually sexual abuse kids, and he wasn't convicted of it, because there was no evidence. I think Corey Feldman explained what Michael actually did do, the best.
I know that the case of Michael Jackson is questionable to say the least, I mainly mentioned him to underline the point of how the medias can focus on the issue once it involves celebrities.
I am very sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience and it is really brave of you to speak about it openly.
I do agree that we have to put resources in reducing the risks of that child abuse is taking place as well as I believe that we need to assure that the kids who has been abused are getting the help they need.
