Other Niche Communities Curation Report #1218

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1218th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Warhammer 40k - Building the brand new Ballistus Dreadnought!

So for a while now, there has been the Redeemer Dreadnought and then last year they added the Brutalis Dreadnought to the range, with the Brutalis using the Redeemer Chassis, but with twin Close Combat arms and a carapace mounted Iron-Hail Heavy Stubber, this Dreadnought is its opposite.

The Ballistus Dreadnought is a Shooting focussed Dreadnought. All guns. It can still kick you with some solid blows in close combat, but nothing super lethal.

Out of nowhere, there's a lot to discover.

After our visit, we decided to go on a road trip until we reached Maya, the most northern tip barangay of Daanbantayan town.

I got the chance to take a photo of the facade of their church of which Saint Isidore Labrador is the patron saint, same as ours.

Dashout Sunday Yakiniku (Grilled Meat)

It's the weekend again and we all need to eat to survive. This time around we went out for Yakiniku with the family a few weeks ago. The grill fired with charcoal is neatly installed in a circular whole cut in the center of the table. Here are a few pictures of the grilling experience.

Iniciativa: El valor de nuestro accionar [ESP] / [ENG]

For the first time I write in this community and I am pleased with the topics and initiatives that are handled in it, because I believe they contribute to the personal and spiritual formation of every human being.

I want, in this opportunity, to join the initiative of expressing why we do what we do. And I am going to do so from various stages of my life

No more ants [Eng/Esp]

Today is "Myth or Reality " day in the community, a day to try those homemade tricks that promise us to eliminate quickly and definitively household problems, such as the presence of some insects, stains on clothes or cleaning complicated surfaces at home, and the idea of course, is to test its effectiveness (or inefficiency) and share it with all of you. Cool, right? For me, it's kind of a fun experiment.

(ALEGRÍA) Un día inolvidable. Esp/Ing

This weekend I had the joy of having part of my family close by. My sister took my mother from Valencia/Carabobo State (where she lives) to La Guaira/La Guaira State, where another of my sisters lives. Word spread that Señora Yeyita (my mom) was going to spend a few days in La Guaira, so several of my cousins decided to go there to spend a day with that beautiful old lady. It was really a big surprise for my mom, at no time we told her that my cousins would come to visit her, only my two sisters and I were with her for the day.

Fungi Friday - The three mushrooms have a unique shape and look very beautiful & graceful

On this occasion I found mushrooms a few days ago because I was walking around the palm oil and rubber plantations again, and found three species of mushrooms that are very beautiful and elegant and some of these mushrooms that I want to show to all my mushroom lovers.

The first one was this inocybe mushroom which I found in a bush that was thriving, and at that time I immediately took several picture poses which looked very beautiful and elegant, from the shape of the umbrella it looked very beautiful with very bright colors.

¡Que fácil es hacer Cachapas! SPA/ENG

One of my favorite foods is the Cachapa of tender corn, that is, the one that is prepared with the cob and not the one made with processed flour.

When I was a child, in my parents' house they used to buy the corn cobs wholesale because of the proximity of the corn producing areas, in harvest time we could enjoy the delicious cachapas with goat cheese prepared by my mom or my sister Maigualida, it was with them that I learned this recipe.

Attempting to be a Stoic, Part I

This is my first entry to the #theminamalist community. I found it a bit ago on Hive, but feeling overwhelmed the past few weeks with a narcissitic boss/toxic workplace, family moving back to the area, and life in general, I failed to put a comprehensive thought together to write about. You know the feeling...life getting in the way and creating anxiousness and stress...I guess that is why I found this community so interesting and intriguing. So here I am, finally!
