OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1954th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

No es un cristal, no. Es un jabón natural. [Es-En] It's not a crystal, no. It's a natural soap.

Finally, essential oils and plant extracts, widely used in perfumery and cosmetics, can be ingested under certain circumstances, but always previously diluted in an appropriate vehicle, following the dose recommended by a knowledgeable physician. As for the other 85%, part of which is water and the rest are common ingredients in breakfasts and cocktails. Fat, sugar and alcohol, which apparently are healthier on our skin than on our insides.

Remembering Hard Rock Café Panama (ENG- ESP)

There is a popular belief that a trip is enjoyed three times: when you plan it, when you live it and when you remember it. Today, thanks to this Throwback Thursday community, I have the perfect opportunity to relive one of those unforgettable moments: my visit to the Hard Rock Café in vibrant Panama City.

DELICIOUS BABA GHANOUSH

Hello Foodies community, I hope you are all well, I want to tell you and show you some photos of the preparation of the Baba Ghanoush (eggplant cream) of Lebanese origin that I prepared yesterday, for me it is a delicious dip to serve at a meeting or to eat regularly, it is quite healthy in terms of nutrition, and with flavors that make it unique.

Delicious cooked sweet fruits smoothie [Eng-Esp]

When we cook fruits, their flavor changes and their sugars become more concentrated. Today I had the idea of cooking a couple of fruits to prepare a smoothie and the result was great.

One of those fruits was the banana, sweet par excellence, and the other was the mango, which is usually also quite sweet but when it is not fully ripe it has an acid touch. The mango I used was just at that point, which has given a unique flavor to this smoothie.

VARIANTE DEL HUMMUS, MUSABAHA/HUMMUS VARIANT, MUSABAHA

I was recently reflecting on how much I have changed my eating habits and this started to happen since I became part of the Hive family, but also because I have a stomach condition that I was diagnosed with recently, nothing serious thank God. Consequently, I have stopped buying some foods in the supermarket and now I make them at home. One of these foods is Hummus which is one of my favorite spreads. However, since my food processor got damaged I didn't make it again and the truth is that I didn't want to make it in the blender for fear of damaging the motor. However, I discovered on social networks a variant of Hummus, called "MUSABAHA ” that I loved, not only because of how delicious it is, but also because you don't need neither a food processor nor a blender.

Lo eres todo | Cover by mirel0510

This week I started a new routine, which allows me to spend more time at home and today was an atypical morning, I found myself all alone since my husband was working and my son was at school, besides my mom and my aunt are usually near me because we are neighbors so we see each other daily, well today they were not there either, I took advantage of the solitude to record and what a feeling of tranquility and freedom it gave me to record without being in a hurry because it was time to take care of my little boy. Many of us do not like changes, especially those of us who have our routine well marked and that gives us peace of mind that everything will be under control, but I also believe that sometimes comfort can be synonymous with stagnation, so in the midst of this change in my life I am slowly enjoying my new schedule, new responsibilities and new challenges.

A Wednesday to Remember: My Son’s Check-up and the Unexpected Discovery of the Dancing Lion

On February 5th, my son had a check-up with his anesthetic doctor for his upcoming surgery. After the appointment, we decided to take a walk from the hospital to the parking lot, then head out for lunch before making our way home. As we walked, something caught our attention. We spotted a shop with a vibrant lion dance performance in front of it. The shop had just opened, and it was a drinks store. My four-year-old son was so excited; it was his very first time experiencing a lion dance, and it was happening right in front of him. His face lit up with amazement as he watched the dancers, their bright costumes and rhythmic movements capturing his attention completely. He had never seen anything like this before, and the wonder in his eyes was unforgettable.

Pequeños Gestos [ESP-ENG]

A dessert made by a senior is the nicest gesture you can give to a geriatrician 🥰, because our recommendation is always to keep them as active as possible and doing housework or preparing something like this, is a wonderful exercise for their physical condition and cognition.
