I don't have many objects around me, for some years now I have been throwing away objects that are not useful, giving away the ones I don't use, and having exclusively what I do need. My only possessions are my bed and my clothes because I have bought household items such as the kitchen, washing machines, and furniture, among others, but I have given them to my parents so they do not belong to me, the reality is that I have nothing.

It was a delightful moment to meet and greet Santa at the annual Christmas bazaar of Lifehouse Montessori that happened earlier after work. Perhaps it is a humble way of supporting locals.

Friday has arrived and along with it the long-awaited weekend commitments, it is a pleasure for me to participate in each of these challenges and learn a little about each participant, I wish everyone good luck and blessings 🤗My collection is not about cans, records or anything like that, it is about the gifts of nature, as I narrate my post I will leave photographs of my beautiful plants, cacti and succulents showing you my beautiful collection.

There were two great lessons learned for me this year; the first one was not to take anything for granted, sometimes I am a bit naïve when I assume that my plans or the tasks I want to accomplish will be as easy as I have designed them in my head, but it is not so because suddenly inconveniences and obstacles appear, which I have to overcome if I want to carry out the goal I had planned or temporarily suspend it as I have had to do on several occasions since everything changes from one moment to another, which means having to restructure everything that I have organized.

The previous days, I was buried books after books and had sleepless nights of coding sessions. I mean that was fun, too, but it's not about it. I had a short break from everything. It was the first birthday of my first ever niece today and I was looking forward to it.

Cultural backgrounds are part of this concept, since many women have, legally, circumstances that limit them; and for María Luisa, who is a Latin American, single mother, educator in the area of social studies, and who has been given the task of learning to manage a team of transcribers, translators and proofreaders of articles and scientific papers; the task has not been easy.

The christmas for me is everything that encompasses itself from family togetherness, because in that period of the month of December from day 1 already begins to smell like Christmas 🌲 therefore Christmas surpasses all literal borders, because it takes us out of the daily routine to a depressive state, so to speak; because just knowing that your Christmas vacation is coming from work or your children's studies, and one has that excitement to receive or plan our beloved and most anticipated Christmas. For all these reasons is that we, since the beginning of the year as it is the month of January, we all know that we have to undertake and project all our goals to take advantage of every second of Christmas, such as enjoying and sharing with each of our loved ones. Oh and for my twin sister and I it is also very important because we were fortunate to be born in December where we take the opportunity to enjoy our birthday to the fullest, with my beloved bagpipe, vinancillo, gifts and with the union of our family and friends.

To begin with, my mother had a normal and very happy pregnancy, but guess what, her family doctor was called "Valerio" (you can imagine where this is coming from), the relationship between my mother and the doctor who took care of me from the first months of gestation until my birth was very close; she told me once that the treatment she received was the best and there was that cool energy flowing at all times, a lot of trust and a feeling of security.

It all started in our childhood, we are 4 sisters, we played hairdresser whenever we had the opportunity. And as we grew up my mom enrolled us in various beauty courses, so we were specializing and practicing among us, at first my sisters practiced with pleasure with me, but then I fled and I do not blame them, at that time my hair was not very easy to deal with, it was a little stressful not to say rebellious.
