On a nice summer night some years ago I met with some friends for some photography in the night at the "Gis" a Hill near Linz where the TV and Radio Signal Transmitting Tower is located. We met at the restaurant parking spot there and from there we were hiking up the hill in the dark. We all had lamps and headlamps so we don't stumble over something. When we finally arrived the top where the summit cross is located we used our tripods and cameras to try different exposures of the scene there. Apart from the cross there is also an old tower up there that loosks somehow interesting on pictures so I also had to take some pictures of it.
I have to admit that back then I was not really experienced with longtime exposure photography and I had several shots that I deleted afterwards because I didn't bring a remote trigger for my camera and pushing down the trigger with your finger for several seconds or even minutes is not really the best Idea if you don't want to blur your images because of shakiness.

I really like summer nights when it is still warm from the day and it is not so cold. I remember doing some night photography in Winter together with Dieter and Stefan but back then it was really cold in the night and the wind did add a little more to the cold feeling.
