It's a fair point and a very effective one - however, what I personally, and what I think a number of other people are looking for is
- The ability for new users to display their posts of a good subjective quality to a multitude of users, the main problem new users have (other than low quality) is a lack of attention. I've seen many new users put up posts of a good subjective quality and fail for lack of notice. There are ways to get around this (specifically posting high quality comments), however they're usually very slow and quite a bit of work.
- For all these terrible, low-quality posts to be removed from the front page. No, I don't mean Bernie-esque posts without much solidity in them (though these should also be limited, there shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 up at a time), I mean the people who are posting unoriginal and/or plagiarized content, as well as those who post in terrible english (or whatever language they use - I don't want to see almost unreadable content), and seriously - please stop with all the drama.
Other than that I don't really have any complaints, I just hope Steem can move forward toward the highest quality platform it can be, and finally manage to live up to all that potential.
And Bernie - I've seen a lot of new users attempt to copy your style and flop. It's annoying for them , it's annoying for us. Not much you can do about it, just wanted to point it out to you - I've already told a few of them that it only works if one has a good following, like yourself. Cheers, and Steem on.
