It's very sad the cruelty people have towards animals. They can't defend themselves nor speak. She is doing an awesome thing. It's awesome too, that you're donating to help. I have always had a soft spot for critters and it breaks my heart to see what folks are capable of. My hat's off to organizations like this! Thanks for sharing.

Heartbreaking to witness the number of animals abandoned today, no help is given by state funding either, everything is supported by local residents.
Cats going back into the bush in our area is becoming a problem, SPCA does try capture them spay them but there are too many now to find homes, many sent back into the bush which does not help wildlife either....
You know all about it Lady Joan, we are facing many real problems in this life.

I can't see times changing here JJ. This has been going on for a very long time and it is so sad. Especially now that more people are emigrating. Can you believe that they pack up and go and they simply leave their animals behind?

They are certainly doing great work my friend.
As a charity, we know the hardships that other small non profits have to endure and we normally support them where we can. Fortunately we also had some boxes of old blankets and towels to gift to them.

There seems to be so much need and poverty in the world, it has to wear you out sometimes.
We were burned out after year 7 my friend and never recuperated fully.
Now into our 18th year we have thankfully taken our first sabbatical and after all of the painful lessons, we will do things differently from now on.
