I love to read people I follow's work regularly, but I enjoy the quality posts that will teach me something new (hands on) or inform me about a topic. I do love the questions and interaction on the posts as well. I feel more connected to the author. I think it's a mix of both, keeping your audience engaged and always striving to create quality creative/informative/inspiring writing.

Hahah, this is exactly why it's important to follow creators that make content you enjoy! ✰ My favorite posts are weird to describe, but I would say are the ones that cause me to question myself because it always leads toward learning!
I've actually had the problem for a long time where I would receive little to no comments on my posts, so a new goal is to make them more engaging and user-friendly. I'm realizing now that simple ideas and concepts can be brilliant depending on how they are presented c:
