RE: Is Hard Work the Way to Fame and Fortune?

in #opinion7 years ago

To me, we have to work hard for our ambition. In which, we have the pleasure to do so. And have to be in a smart way.
You have to carry 40 kg. What you did, maybe took it on head or by lifting it by hands.
Another person, who just put it on a trail or something, and just push it to the destination.
Both of you did same work done. One did with huge effort and muscle. Another one, just use his head.
So, doing efficiently and effectively is the main point.
Your work...effective
His work....efficient.
And also, you have to persistence on your goal. Luck will may not favour you. But you will be there, either sooner or later.
Thanks

I disagree that you have to work hard. This belief that working hard is what brings about success fails to take luck into consideration. I can imagine an actor who, thanks to being in the right place at the right time, becomes more successful than some other actor who strives much more but does not get a break. I can imagine somebody becoming way more wealthy than somebody else who works their asses off, simply because they inherit a fortune. So, like I said, hard work might lead to success but it does not guarantee it.

In my last, i said it. Only working hard is not the answer. Doing thing right and doing the right thing, 2 different meaning. But, also you can not the value of hardworking.
I agree with the last line of yours. Might have the success or not. But, it will bring you some benefit to the extend.
Hard work always payoff, either the way we want it or another.
