Firstly, it is nice to have an interface the same as Steemit :D
It has been a good indicator of how an SMT can have value and be used as an earner while still being on Steem. At the moment it is nice to be able to earn both coins simultaneously but I imagine that in the future with so many various coins doing, that might stop. However, it doesn't really matter as it puts more demand on Steem regardless.
It is also interesting to see who is powering up and who is selling and I think that in time, there will be many familiar faces in the top ranks, albeit less Steem whales.
There is a fair amount of interest in it already and i hope that in time it will also be used as an onboarding interface. With a more even starting distribution, it is now up to the community to step up and actually put their vote where their mouths are and support content, if that is what they think Steem has been missing. I reckon the circles will still form, just at less powered levels for now.
It's nice that it has the same interface as steemit, but the problem I have with PALNet is that you can't see posts that don't have palnet tag on your feed.
Not sure if that is a good feature as right now because of that I always have to come back to steemit to check my feed for the posts without the tag.
That's kind of the point. When you have a smaller community, you want to limit the visible content to better serve the needs of the niche that the community has. These niches are good for discovering new content, not so for keeping up with all the people you already have followed on Steem.
