That is awesome! Electric vehicles can help us to fight against the problem of global warming. But, it must be taken care of that the required electricity should not be produced somewhere else by burning fossil fuel.

I agree. In Isle of Man it is mostly Natural Gas, with a small fraction coming from renewables. However even natural gas power plants is better than burning petrol in your car, only if it's fully coal powered is it comparable.

As the local grid gets greener, so will my car.

Definitely natural gas is much cheaper and cleaner source of energy. Have a great time!
