The blockchain supports encrypted messages . They can be sent as a note to a trqnsfer, starting with # sign. In backend this is encrypted with the public memo key of the receiver, and can only be decrypted by the holder of the private key. But I doubt that partiko will do so... It will need 0.001 SBD for every message send away

You can encrypt any message like that, you don't have to use the transfer memo mechanism to send it to someone. Any chat application can do so, in case it can get a hold of the user's private memo key. That is why I am asking...
