RE: Win 100 to 10,000 SP Delegation for a Week or More in My Witness Pay-It-Forward Initiative

in #payitforward7 years ago

As many of the groups that I think would do great things with the award have been nominated I am going pitch my Pay It Forward Curation Contest as a worthy entry. This contest is designed to allow others to feature 3 bloggers who are equal or smaller in reputation score then themselves in a curation post. This post becomes the entry into the contest.

Currently my vote is relatively small, but on each entry I am giving a 15% upvote on the comment that is made on the Contest page, a 10-20% upvote to the actual entry, plus upvoting all of those that were featured in the entry at 10-35% based on merit and voting power available.

At the same time at least 2 others are also helping with this process of rewarding those featured in the curation posts. Big thanks to @lynncoyle1 & @energyaddict22 for their efforts.

So while I am tossing my hate in the ring it's not for myself, but purely for the benefit of those who are taking the time to curate and then those who were curated.

By having any level of support the contest would be able to better reward the smaller steemians out there who are producing great content, but don't have the visibility to earn many rewards. By helping reward newer members we will help create a lasting and thriving community of bloggers here on Steemit which in the end helps us all.

Here are my voting numbers just to give an idea:
Voting CSI [ NA ] ( 11.94 % self, 399 upvotes, 132 accounts, last 7d )

As you can see I spread my votes around to many accounts and most are smaller then my own. I tend to run between 9-12% for self upvote, but would make sure to keep that number lower during the week of delegation only upvoting my 4 or so posts for the week and nothing more.

If you have any questions feel free to message me on discord, same name # 6765.

Either way thank you for thinking of others and I'm sure whomever is granted the opportunity to put your SP to work in your absence will do a great job.
