Wow, can't believe we are onto week 6. Seriously this is crazy and I'm thrilled to keep this going for yet another week.
Week 5 Overview & Rules
This week there are a few new rules and it's to avoid low quality content from being submitted as an entry. Lets remember the purpose of this contest is not to get your Spouse, Friend, or Second account some exposure. The idea is to curate some QUALITY CONTENT that deserves more rewards then they are getting.
| I really don't want to have to create a detailed list of every sleazy thing that a few people are doing that I won't put up with going foward. So just take this as your warning that if you are trying to gain additional votes or steal part of the bounty with unearned upvotes my flag button works just fine. More then willing to use it when it's earned. |

Requirements Some Changes
Your Entry will be a single Curation Post that highlights 3 other bloggers with a reputation score of 50 or below and link to 1 of their posts.
- Curation Style Post of 3 Bloggers who are posting Quality Original Content
- Link to 1 recent blog post per featured blogger. Keep in mind that many will follow this link and upvote so pick a post that isn't close to payout!
- Include a link to this contest in your entry post
- The 3 bloggers you curate Must Be Rank 50 or Lower!
- You need to comment on this post with a link to your post, this is how I track everything!
New:
- Blog Post must be a Steemit or Busy post. We are no longer accepting entries with feature bloggers who's posts are on Parley or other quick hit type posts.
- Photos are ok, but a single photo of a flower for a photo contest is not. Photos are art and a true artist will tell the story of their work.

Thank you for entering again! Just an fyi your last featured post is borderline for the new photo rules. As a whole steepshot posts just aren't going to have enough content to be enough for us going forward. But did like the message and for this week it's ok. The new rule is only Steemit or Busy posts.

You do what most people fear more than anything, public speaking. I've never had an issue with it, but most people can't get in front of a room and talk.
Its a unique dichotomy, because I always get nervous, but it also makes me feel alive.
I love sharing information, thoughts, new ideas and entertaining at the same time.
To see the crowd moved and impacted on what I can share is rewarding. 😏

I can't believe people would actually do that; it's just so not in line with the general spirit of the initiative!
Still I guess it's easy money for them.... I guess the rest of us should keep and eye out and flag along where necessary!
Some people only care about their own profits at all costs then wonder why others flag them, don't upvote them freely, and so forth. They don't have a clue about community.
I completely get this is a financial deal for people and that making money is important. In the end it is for me also as I'd like this down the road to give my family some options. But at the same time there is a right and wrong way to go about things.
Personally it just feels right for me to work for a living/ engage with others. Probably my working class roots.

I would like to suggest that you repost this tomorrow morning in next weeks contest so your featured bloggers get the most exposure. We have found that last minute entries don't get very much traffic to the featured bloggers. Actually changing the rules next week to entries must be in by Sunday night to make sure there is time for people to visit the featured bloggers.
Technically you are in time so it's up to you what you want to do. Just let me know.

# What is a bounty exactly A bounty is money sent to a post to be distributed to the users commenting on it. It provides a way to reward users directly on top of the steem/sbd they get from the blockchain independently of SP. I wouldn't want to just scan through the new section and pull out a random half decent post real quick to later realize that post was the only half decent one they seemed to have (followed and unfollowed a few people on that premise, I'm learning though).
I don't off the top of my head know of anyone under 50 and recently posted I mean. Searching for good-to-me content has been my crusade, seeing contests like this gives me a lot of hope and is the main reason I came back to Steemit, so I will certainly narrow my search to people that fit to nominate over the next couple of days, if by chance I don't, at least I tried to get the word out.

Oh please don't let this hold you back at all. It takes a little work but as @honeysim mentioned use the New search. Go to the tags select one then click on New at the top next to Trending. It is amazing what you find. In fact that's what I do when I go searching. I personally don't go for the 'brand new' introducemyself people, I'll let others sift through that. More than half after less than 24 hours have a Rep higher than mine a follower count higher than mine,$10+ on their payout and well over 50 upvotes. That doesn't exactly scream quality content to me (even though it might)
You'll find what works for you though. The main thing is to comment/engage with the person. Do a proper comment. Show them you read their post and that you appreciate them are really my only suggestions. I have no doubt you'll find some and it's pretty exciting to see what that a little bit of traffic can do for someone.
@tryskele, you are so right. That is the technique that I have been using. It is usually a bit of a risk when one chooses to nominate a brand new person. But even them (some) deserve visibility too and we never know how much of an impact we can have when we pick them out early. With this they can get a glimpse of what Steemit can really be. Overall, there are some really good content creators out there. We just have to take the time to find them and use our better judgement.
Most definitely. Sounds bad I think that is laziness on my part. It's A LOT of sifting there. Others love it . I love to find the people who have been on 2-6 mos and seem to be struggling. However I always do a once through the newest ones to see if someone catches my eye.
I actually touched on all of this in my entry and my brain is too tired to respond properly so, link lol
