This is what I am pointing out in the article. Everyone has their own version of common sense. The doctor will not given a pregnant woman opiates because he studied specific information that is not necessarily directly available to the rest of the public.
It is not until a child touches a hot stove until he or she knows it is hot.

Sorry bad example. I am sure there are many other illustrations of how we learn what common sense is through our environment. Great post though.
I am sure there are. But, i am also sure that there are examples how the "common sense" of some people might lead large populations into common delusions.
In China it is common sense to be hateful and apprehensive towards foreigners. LOL maybe I am just mixing up what common sense and learned behavior is .
