You don't get your VP back for cancelling a vote, so just use what you see fit :)

So many people aren't aware that removing a flag doesn't return VP. Changing a vote is even worse, you vote twice, and will not receive any curation rewards.

I know it is a waste of VP, but if they don't see the post hidden and rep going down usually ignore it (Maybe it is just that they don't realize), I try not to do it much, but it works...

I try to keep my VP to support my little projects

What projects do you have on the go?

At the moment running @reveur which acts like a sort of school / incubator in spanish.

@delega which is a BOT that acts as a mutualized VP pool and one can sponsor authors by delegating to it and nominating a sponsored author. They are supposed to slef regulate amongst themselves and correct abuses and deviations... (If they dont find delegations they can transfer for leasing SP) It is in beta but covering 25 ppl atm with a small delegation and a follow vote.

It both encourages reinvestment, shows minnows how difficult is to balance a project where self-interest is at play and to use the platform in a responsible way (Basically the deal is if someone complains because they dont self regulate and avoid abuses i close it, so they have incentive to selfpolice themselves.)

@castellano witness which is a witness that aims to give a voice to minnows and small projects in spanish side of steemit

As well as supporting two other projects that do a great work helping developping the hispanic community ( @steemit-fiction and @celfmagazine)

Sorry Eric i didn't mean to hi-jack your post for Aggrandizing hahaha

These sound very good overall, thanks for taking the time to explain.

I see gentlebot took a liking to your reply too 😁
