Right there with anyone. We should get an international fire arm registry to prevent this issue. We could have every register their guns at the point of b purchase and have to digitally sign a blockchain ever shot fired.

How do you think tracking such things would help? It may reduce some violence slightly, but criminals will always find ways to get guns, heck we can print them with 3d printers now. There are other concerns as well. We shouldn't have to tell anyone what kind of weapons we are using to defend ourselves, that in and of itself allows a predator to hurt you even more if they know what you have.

@phusionphil Tracking weapons with a ledger could be an interesting method for tracking them, but to try and track every round fired is simply ridiculous. There are so many individuals (In America specifically) who remanufacture their own ammunition with spent brass. Many of them have no desire to have their practices traced on a public ledger. Food for thought...
