Despite the fact that I can't post anything without being downvoted, and that most of my friends have been hounded off the platform by insiders who try to control the content and the rewards, I have to admit that the Peakd front end is so well done that after using a bunch of other sites, I do miss it - the other sites all suck balls.
If I start posting here again it will be mainly for me - having a muse is sometimes helpful, and any illusions of being paid to post are long gone. I would have to keep the rewards turned off, and only comment or reply using my many alt accounts. (I'd forgotten, but I actually have more than 20 alt accounts on my spreadsheet, so if I could be arsed I could run my own private Hive circle jerk, but don't worry, I can't be arsed upvoting myself at all these days!)
I'm not even sure if I will start posting again, but after having a look around, despite it's MANY faults, I still think Hive is in some ways the best platform on the internet. It's like a really nice country, controlled by a mob of corrupt idiots. But that is exactly what I live in... Yes, New Zealand is just like Hive!

If every person who rage quit and threw fits had just kept posting, eventually even with their masses they would have had to make some choices and likely the stakes would slowly even.

I survived a fairly long attack just by ignoring it.
I'm doing okay considering. Emotional scabs are forming, and I'm trying to talk myself into getting excited about my next chapter, and some days I have windows of it. I'm breathing, I have stronger connections, and this Spring colors are bright again. In time I will be okay and even happy again.

Dumping and leaving is not solving the problem of a group of control freaks controlling things.
Only powering up and organizing will do that.

In years past the chain was vulnerable to spam attacks driving up the cost of nodes.
It made sense then to be nazis about content not clogging up the blocks.
Those days are gone.
I think it is time to loosen content requirements.
With so many 2nd layer coins selling their coins for hive votes we might as well have never run the bid bots off, too.
How delegating for a return, or paying for rewards in a 2nd layer token, is not vote buying/selling defies rational logic, imo.
Why this blind spot is tolerated is beyond me, it sure makes the content nazis look tyrannical.

Hive is basically a reflection of the way the world is run.
It is isn't it? - I'm a bit disillusioned with all the other platforms, so maybe I'm better off to just post here again and use the platform that works best - hell, I've even been on Fakebook recently and I loath that place!
