ahhhh love. sigh..... see what i mean, @countrygirl? :)
there IS something about a Zamboni. there aren't many things that can go from cracked, dull and broken to crisp, shiny and new.... at least not as efficiently as the Zamboni performs! I find myself in such a meditative daze when I watch :)
and @johnjgeddes... you know what else people applaud??? (and i've only witnessed this flying to and from Russia) A Russian airplane touching down! As soon as the wheels touch the ground, the whole plane erupts with applause! My husband and I looked at each other with amused surprise... and then joined in with all the Russians clapping! so fun! hehehe
I know .....Zamboni's always get spectators. It's not that they are that interesting...like a garbage truck. :) But they make the ice brand new so it's cool to watch.
Clapping when landing? Not in America....in America everyone complains and then pushes to get out before anyone else, knocking people in the head with their overhead luggage....so rude! That's it, I'm going to Russia.
