I have a very old canon EOS 100mm macro lens. I bought it second hand in around the year 2000. It's one of my favourite lenses, even though the autofocus sucks... so slow, and if haven't flicked the switch on the side limiting it to focus either closeup or regular distance, it can take way too long to find focus, so it's really a manual focus lens. Plus the rubber on the focus ring had stretched and is loose. Having said that though, it's a great lens, perfect for portraits, and it's a proper 1:1 macro.

Nice shots btw. That ring flash looks like it'd come in handy in so many situations... me wantee!

I also had a rail focus on the tripod, I forgot to mention that. So I just zoom to 1:1 and then move the camera forward or backward with the rail. My lens is third hand, I was told it belonged to a wedding photographer for a few years... Works fine for me heh.
