I as well. It is my first non-canon lens for photography and my first none L-series lens. I was very impressed by the reviews I read and the build quality is quite excellent. I'm excited to be finally graduating from zoom lenses to primes. I really hope this helps me evolve my work further.

The L series are nice but I am sure you will learn to appreciate your new Zeiss just as much if not more. Primes offer some advantages. Biggest being how fast it is and the amazing bokeh. I read that 50 mm is also the closest range to that of the human eye. Using your feet to zoom in and out is a bit tricky though. Have fun!
I spent some time yesterday breaking it in and putting it through its paces. It is definitely rendering color and highlights much better. I think I'm going to update the rest of my lenses with Zeiss primes after this.
I can't wait for my polarizing filter to come in so I can play with that :-)
