You took a poor snapshot of some fixture and your friends give you 1.8k, and now you're try to deflect from the real topic at hand. The photo is poor, and the above photo would be better with the horizon off the center mark too, yes. What makes it work to some extent is the palette is heavier and gives more weight to the bottom half of the image.
