if you want a simple camera + high quality + macro, you should have a look at the Sony RX1. it's small, very straight forward, professional, and you can get the 1st generation for the price of a cheap dslr.
only downside: you have to get used to working with only one lens (35mm).

thank you, that's good advice. I think 1 lens is enough anyway to start with as long as I can achieve all that I want to with it. I have never used them before :)
