Person A: "I Don't Have Anything Interesting To Photograph Where I Live". Person B ( A Neighbour) "I Keep Running Out Of Battery Because There Are So Many Things Here I Want To Take Photos of"

When you are watching all wonderful photos on steemit do you ever feel like - "of course I could also take a good photo like that if I was in the same place ". Well I do feel like that sometimes because for example the air here rarely allows for a blue sky, and thus it's hard to get the vivid colors in the photograph. Further more the place I live is a big concrete city, so I can't always capture my favorite subject which is nature. I have been feeling like person A in the title lately. However things can changed quickly.
When I was out playing badminton with my wife in our compound and a butterfly flied by and landed next to the small water pound I realized that there is actually beauty just outside my apartment and that it was just a problem of me not using the right perspective of loooing at things. So I decided to challenge myself and take photos in my compound and see what I could come up with, I also only could use my IPhone that I brought with me. Below is the result.

This photo is of the small pound I mentioned above and it is quite peaceful to sit next to it sometimes and blurr out all the noise .
This is a small bench which is situated on the small island which the pound runs around.

Around the pound you can also find many beautiful flowers.

This is also a nice closeup of another kind of flower with very vivid colors.
As I was walking around in the compound I also tried to explore different angles and I like the silhouette of the palm tree below.

In conclusion I must say that I prefer much more to be person B and below is the photo of the butterfly I was talking about.

Hi Dan, enjoyed your post. Macro photography and a good depth of field create some of my favourite images. I think it shows much more ability when you look for the hidden in the every day rather than travel somewhere where the photo is already made for you and you just have to snap it!

Thanks a lot for you comment and I think like you say that we should look at photography more like a quest and it is in that process one can discover things we don't usually do and appreciate and capture its beauty :)

Very nice place..well done bro @dandesign86 i think its a good quit place to relax

Thank you so much :)

A great post and I think your right it just takes the right mindset to be looking for the beauty and things to photograph all around you, sometimes its hard to see but its there if you just open your eyes wide and look
great shots and have a good day

Thanks a lot Inappreciate it, how is it going with the Sepia Photo ? ,)
