RE: What Was Your First/Favorite Vehicle?! Here's My List!

in #photography7 years ago

My first vehicle was a 1969 Mercury Cougar, PS PW & 351 Windsor with a 4bbl carb and auto trans. Fixed the front end then had the whole car painted. Sold it eventually and the new owner wrecked it! Wish I had that car today. Favorite cars is tough had a few over the years.

My current 2000 Toyota Solar has a 190,000 miles and still runs daily only routine maintenance is very needed. Had a 1989 Chevy pickup had close to 200,00 miles when sold. Did all the work on it including an engine change from a 305 to a 350 with a mild cam installed. Sold that and was running in Kansas on a farm a few years ago, no recent info on that.

Jumped into a 2008 Ford F150 XLT with all the options ran it to Vermont, All over the NJ, PA & Del & Norfolk areas. Had close to 200 k on it when a girl blasted thru a stop sign on a restricted drivers license in NJ. Was 5 minutes from home. The frame was diamond and purchase by her carrier for salvage. Was getting ready to make some major changes to it. Oh well learned to never get to attached to a car after that.

Sort:

First car was a 1989 Ford Ranger with a completely shot transmission. Learned to drive stick in it, had a lot of good times and adventures in it.

Current car is my favorite to date - 1990 Nissan Skyline GTS sedan. The feeling of driving rhd in the US is amazing- and it gets plenty of looks. I love taking her to shows, even though she's really not the prettiest car in the world with her rough paint job and less than perfect interior.

You do not....That is so awesome!! Have any pics? Post them up!!

That Cougar would make a hell of a car today!

Bummer on the F150, sounds like it treated you well!
