SteemitPhotoChallenge Entry #4 - These Are Not Usual Macro Photos Because They Are Not - See For Yourself

in #photography8 years ago (edited)

My entries for this week's photo challenge won't be flowers or bees or something similarly beautiful but quite ordinary for macro photos.

No, I decided to go with bigger things. Let us start with a huge deep red tomato like this one:

Next entry is an unusually shaped biscuit. OK; here is your flower:

To finish on a high note here is, sitting on a mountain hut's bench, a sparkling golden glass of cold beer. Cheers:

Delicious, isn't it?

Equipment: Sony DSC-HX20V pocket camera, no special macro gear.

Good luck to all participants in the challenge.

Follow my other ramblings at @ervin-lemark. I'll follow you back!

Better and better.

cheers to your tomato.
the 2nd shot looks a bit like some sweet snacks we have in Singapore.
I think is made from some flour paste and mold is dipped into the paste and then dipped into oil to fry. I don't know the name of that snack.
Tried to search online but guess have to wait for a few months later when the new year goodies start going on sale.

Yes, the baking procedure is as you describe it. In Slovenia, this is called krhki flancat. Krhki means brittle. Like tneder, on th evrge of breaking, ... There is no translation for flancat. Local word :)

The original form is like this:

The flower above is a special variation with a help of a mould.

Delicious :)

The whole world in beer

Yap. I did a whole series of beer shots. Only later did I realize that reflections came out great too :)
